The Inuulitsivik Health Centre, with more than 900 employees, is part of the health and social services network in Quebec, Nunavik region. It provides the Hudson’s Bay territory of approximately 7,000 people with front-line health and social services, including prevention, assessment, diagnosis and treatment, rehabilitation and support services. In addition, he provides services related to the protection of young people and the management, for the Nunavik region, of Ullivik located in Dorval. The latter’s mission is to welcome Inuit people who are to receive health services in participating Montreal hospitals. The Inuit population is distributed in seven communities on the Hudson Bay coast, from Kuujjuaraapik to Salluit.
We have needs to fill positions, on the recall list, short and long term replacements of 6 months and more.
A person who works with the team in place to ensure the smoothness of users’ trajectories. It assists the sampler in its screening duties and performs general tasks such as cleaning, maintaining and storing the equipment and equipment used. Ensure you have the necessary equipment available before starting your shift;
Respects hygiene measures and the wearing of protective equipment at all times;
Welcome and accompany the user after registration, to the screening area;
Assists the sampler by collecting the previously disinfected sample tube;
Pack the tube in a biohazard bag containing paper towels;
Make sure the tube is properly identified in the user’s name;
Disinfects the bag and inserts it into the biohazard bag;
Insert the lab form into a clear bag;
Ensure that the samples are kept in the appropriate location;
Identify the transmission box of the tubes according to current standards;
Make sure to empty the garbage cans regularly, disinfect the garbage cans before handing over a new bag;
Cleans surfaces in contact with the user
Assists and supports new employees.
Performs any other stains at the request of the immediate superior.
QualificationsHolding a completed high school diploma
A professional health degree or relevant field an asset.
Experience as a service helper, an asset.
Experience in the health field is an asset.
Essential bilingualism (French and English) orally.
Skills in interpersonal collaboration, communication and teamwork.
Ability to manage broadband work, change and emergencies
Ability to work as part of a multicultural work team.
Organized and shabby person.
Respect for Inuit culture and traditions.
